“Our thoughts are with all those affected by the bushfires in New South Wales and Queensland.

“At this time, we want all of our customers to focus on safety and not energy bills.

“AGL has paused billing of affected customers until further notice. This action will be reviewed once the emergency passes.

“For any of our customers who have been evacuated and need priority assistance, we ask they call us on 131 245 so we can help them further.

“Customers can also reach us via Facebook and Twitter.

“While we are working with distributors to ensure life-support customers are safe, we encourage those affected to have a back-up plan and contact us with any questions.”
