AGL Energy (AGL) welcomes the opportunity to comment on to the NSW Government’s Renewable Fuel Scheme (RFS) discussion paper on scheme expansion.

In our submission, AGL has been generally supportive of the NSW Government’s proposed expansion of the RFS, which includes introducing a penalty price and biogenic fuels into the RFS and not allowing exemptions from the scheme. We have also suggested that any liability from the RFS should generally be borne by those who benefit from it.
