AGL nears completion of the sale of Macarthur Wind Farm
AGL Energy Limited (AGL) notes an article in today’s newspaper “The Australian” stating that it is close to finalising the sale of its 50 percent participating interest in the 420 MW Macarthur Wind Farm. AGL confirms that it is close to finalising the sale process. As previously announced to the market the sale proceeds are expected to be equal to the book value of the asset and therefore no profit or loss on sale will be recorded.
