Learn how to check your internet plan details and data usage, change your internet plan and find your AVC ID.

Internet plan details

All AGL internet plans include unlimited data usage.

Internet speeds vary from plan to plan, so you can choose a speed that suits you. Find your plan details, including download, upload and nbn® speeds, using the following steps:

Check internet plan details in My Account:

  1. Log in to My Account and go to Overview.
  2. Find the nbn tile and select View details.

To choose a different internet plan and speed, visit Compare nbn plans.

Check internet plan details in the AGL app:

  1. In the AGL app go to Overview and select the nbn tile.
  2. Under Settings, tap View Plan.

Internet data usage

Because all AGL internet plans include unlimited data, you can't check specific data usage details in My Account or the AGL app. If you’d like to check your data usage, Contact us.

Change internet plans

You can change your internet plan once a month with no fee, through My Account or the AGL app.

Change internet plans in My Account:

  1. Log in to My Account and go to Overview.
  2. Scroll down to My Internet and Mobile to find your plan and select Manage plan.
  3. View your plan and select Change my plan, then follow the steps.

 

Change internet plans in the AGL app:

  1. In the AGL app go to Overview and select the nbn® tile.
  2. Under Settings, tap View Plan.
  3. Select Change my plan, then follow the steps.

AVC ID and where to find it

The Access Virtual Circuit Identifier (AVC ID) is a 15 character code that identifies your property’s nbn connection. The code starts with ‘AVC’ and is followed by a 12 digit number.

When changing providers, you’ll need the AVC ID of your current connection. It helps your new provider and NBN Co solve any connection issues with your internet service.

If you’re already with AGL, find your AVC ID through My Account or the AGL app, or on your internet bill.

Find your AVC ID in My Account:

  1. Log in to My Account and go to Overview.
  2. Find the nbn tile and select View details.

 

Find your AVC ID in the AGL app:

  1. In the AGL app go to Overview and select the nbn tile.
  2. Under Settings, tap View Plan.
     

Find your AVC ID on your internet bill:

  1. Go to the second page of your most recent bill.
  2. View and download your latest bill in My Account or the AGL app, or check your inbox if you receive bills via email.

 

Find your AVC ID with your current provider:

If you're moving to AGL from another internet provider:
 

  • Check your current provider's bill
  • Log in to their website or app
  • Contact their customer support for help
