AGL Energy (AGL) welcomes the opportunity to comment on to the NSW draft energy policy framework (draft framework).

In our submission, AGL has been generally supportive of the NSW Government’s draft energy policy framework, while providing feedback on various elements of the draft framework including some of the requirements for assessing the visual impact of wind farms, the frequency at which the draft guidelines should be reviewed and how feedback from industry and local communities could be incorporated into the draft guidelines going forward.

We have also supported the Clean Energy Investor Group’s recommendation that there should be a broader use of CSSI declarations for renewable energy projects to meet the NSW’s critical energy needs.
