AGL today advises that Mr Anthony Fowler has been permanently appointed to the position of Group General Manager Merchant Energy. Mr Fowler had been acting in that role since the resignation of Mr Jeff Dimery on 27 September 2010.

Mr Fowler joined AGL in December 2002, with the majority of his career at AGL having been spent in the Merchant Energy Group. He was most recently AGL's General Manager Energy Portfolio Management with responsibility for the procurement of AGL’s gas, electricity and environmental certificate requirements.
