AGL CEO new chair of Clean Energy Council
AGL Energy Limited (AGL) is pleased to acknowledge CEO and MD Michael Fraser's election to the position of Chairman of the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
For several years, AGL under the leadership of Mr Fraser has been the leading Australian investor in new renewable energy projects.
Some of these projects include the landmark 140 MW Bogong Hydro Electric plant in Victoria; the Hallett wind precinct in South Australia; and development of the Southern Hemisphere's largest wind farm at Macarthur in Victoria.
AGL is proud to have been shortlisted as part of the federal government's Solar Flagships program and has recently invested $15m in developing solar expertise for its customers.
Mr Fraser looks forward to bringing expertise across all major renewable technologies (such as hydro, solar, geothermal, wind and embedded generation) to the CEC board.
