AGL Energy Limited (AGL) is pleased to host a marquee at the Camden Show from 9am to 8pm on Friday, 15 March and Saturday, 16 March 2013, as part of its local community support activities. The marquee will showcase interactive activities for children such as water experiments, colouring-in, constructing wind turbines and interactive games based around renewable energy and optimising energy efficiency in the home.

In addition, AGL mascots Timmy and Tina Turbine will be in attendance on Friday to help children learn more about renewable energy. AGL will also provide information about its current operations at the Camden Gas Project, which supplies approximately five percent of New South Wales’ gas needs to households and businesses. AGL will provide information about its current horizontal drilling technique, environmental and water aspects of the project and display images of the project in action. There will also be a geology and aquifers animation, a drilling animation and a model display of a vertical well.

As part of the event sponsorship, AGL has also sponsored the Lumberjack Spectacular Show and the Beef Cattle on Saturday. AGL will be giving away a BBQ each day of the event and will be offering many fun giveaways for children throughout both days.
