Mark is a former energy executive with over 30 years' experience in building new markets, programs, and teams globally in the solar and storage sectors. Mark is a Member of the TAGEnergy Advisory Committee, Member of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Advisory Panel, advisor to Drive Powerline Inc and advisor to the UNSW Energy Institute. Mark has served as Director – Energy Programs at Tesla, responsible for leading Tesla’s Energy business in Asia-Pacific, and during 2019-21 the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also has experience helping companies and governments with energy transition, having previously served on the boards of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and Commonwealth Government Solar Flagships Council, and as Deputy Chair of the Clean Energy Council.
