By adding Green Energy to your new electricity plan, we ensure electricity equal to 20% or 100% of your total household electricity consumption is fed into the grid from government-accredited Australian renewable energy sources.
The small cost of Green Energy is in addition to your daily electricity charges. These charges are variable and may change at any time with notice to you. Energy plan discounts do not apply to Green charges.
AGL Green Energy is accredited under the national GreenPower program. The GreenPower program accredits projects that produce electricity from eligible renewable energy sources. GreenPower accredited energy is additional to the Commonwealth Government's Renewable Power Percentage, encouraging investment in commercial renewable energy projects.

You can terminate your Green Energy at any time. Otherwise Green Energy will continue while AGL continues to supply you with electricity, provided you do not initiate any change to another plan or contract. If you initiate a change to another plan or contract, Green Energy will end when your plan or contract ends.
