AGL Energy (AGL) welcomes the opportunity to comment on to the South Australian Green Paper on the energy transition (Green Paper).  AGL has provided a comprehensive submission to the Green Paper, where we have been broadly supportive of the South Australian Government taking a holistic view of the energy transition needs through a consultative Green Paper and White Paper process that looks at the necessary long-term enduring market settings to deliver meaningful change.

In AGL’s view, long-term certainty and signalling of bigger structural changes or policy shifts are critical to deliver the investment that will underpin the energy transition.
