If you have an AGL energy plan like Value Saver, AGL Netflix Plan or AGL Solar Savers, you will be on a market contract. For more information, visit Market retail contracts.

If you do not have a market contract energy plan or are using energy without contacting us to set up an account, then you are on a standard retail contract. For more information, visit Standard retail contracts.

Plan renewal process

If your energy plan has a fixed term, we’ll send you a letter shortly before the end of its term. We’ll let you know your new plan details, including your new rates and any benefits that may apply.

If you’re happy with this plan, there’s nothing you need to do. We’ll transfer you automatically to your new plan when the old one ends.

You won’t hear from us if your plan terms are ongoing, or we’ve automatically rolled you onto a new fixed term, which is usually 12 to 24 months in duration.

If you do not want to continue with this new plan, you can choose another plan that suits you.
