If an account holder has passed away
If you need to close or transfer the account of someone who has passed away, we’re here to make it as easy as possible.
If you need to close or transfer the account of someone who has passed away, we’re here to make it as easy as possible.
We can easily help you online or over the phone, so when you’re ready, get in touch.
It will help us if you have:
your name and contact details
your relationship to the account holder
the name of the executor (if it isn’t you) and their details
the account details of the deceased person.
You don’t have to be family or the executor of the estate, as long as you can tell us the above information.
If we need any documents, we’ll let you know the best way to send them to us.
We’ll guide you through the steps to close the account or transfer it to another person.
