Paying for your EV subscription

How to pay for your personal, business, or salary packaged electric vehicle (EV) subscription.

Personal subscriptions

How to pay

We’ll send you a monthly invoice which you can pay by setting up an automatic direct debit.

EV subscriptions are managed separately from other AGL services (including electricity, gas, internet and mobile), so you can’t pay for them through My Account or the AGL app

Billing periods

Electric vehicle subscriptions are billed monthly, and you pay a month in advance.

This means that at the beginning of your subscription you’ll pay one month upfront, and each month we'll send you an invoice for the month ahead.

Your billing date each month will be based on the date you picked up or received your car.


Salary packaged subscriptions

Salary packaged subscriptions are invoiced to your employer, so your billing period will be based on your pay cycle. 

We’ll invoice your employer for a weekly, fortnightly or monthly amount (depending on your pay cycle), and they'll deduct that amount from your pre-tax salary. 

Sometimes your first pay cycle doesn’t line up with the start of your subscription. If you pick up or receive your car before your first billing cycle, we’ll simply add the difference to your final invoice.


Business subscriptions 

Business subscriptions are invoiced on the first of each month.

If you pick up or receive your EV before the first monthly invoice, we’ll simply add the difference to your final invoice.
