1.2 Eligibility and Access to AGL Rewards
a) The promoter of the AGL Rewards program is AGL Energy Limited ABN 74 115 061 375, AGL Sales Pty Limited ABN 88 090 538 337, AGL South Australia Pty Limited ABN 49 091 105 092, AGL Retail Energy Limited ABN 21 074 839 464 and Southern Phone Company Limited trading as AGL Telecommunications ABN 42 100 901 184 (AGL), which are collectively the owner of the AGL Rewards program.
b) To be eligible for AGL Rewards and be permitted to access this site, you must:
i. hold an active gas, electricity and/or telecommunications account with AGL and;
ii. be a registered AGL My Account user, with an activated account.
c) AGL large business customers, OVO Energy customers and ActewAGL customers are not eligible for the AGL Rewards program.
d) A customer’s access to AGL Rewards will be cancelled if:
i. AGL reasonably suspects non-compliance with the conditions of clause 1.3(ii), (v) or (vi) below, or reasonably suspects that the customer is otherwise engaging in fraudulent, illegal or vexatious activity.
ii. the customer no longer holds an active gas, electricity or telecommunications account with AGL. If so, that customer must cease the use of AGL Rewards. All access to AGL Rewards digital assets will be deactivated.
e) AGL reserves the right to alter or amend the conditions of the AGL Rewards program, or terminate the program, at any time with reasonable prior written notice of any material amendment or termination. AGL may also cease to promote any Reward offer, or vary the terms of a Reward promotional offer, at any time. However AGL will honour any originally advertised Reward offer during the originally advertised redemption period.
f) Information collected by AGL relating to your AGL Rewards participation and use of the AGL Rewards website may be used by AGL for marketing, planning, product development, research and other commercial purposes. AGL may disclose your personal information with Third Parties in order to provide you with a Third Party Offering. For further information on how AGL deals with your personal information, please refer to the AGL Privacy Policy.
g) AGL may use your personal information to tell you about Rewards we think you may be interested in, including Third Party Offerings. We may send you marketing messages in various ways, including by mail, email, telephone, SMS, and digital marketing including advertising via the AGL App and AGL My Account. If you would like to change your AGL marketing preferences, please call 131 245 or visit https://www.agl.com.au/help/manage-communication-preferences. Opting out of AGL marketing communications will not cancel your AGL Rewards access.
