The Google Home Mini offer is available to selected existing and new customers who sign up to the offered AGL gas or electricity plan via one of the available channels during the promotional period.
Customers who take up this offer are eligible to receive a maximum of one device per customer. View the AGL Connect Bonus Terms and Conditions for full eligibility requirements.
If you cancel your eligible AGL energy plan during your cooling off period or before AGL becomes responsible for the supply of gas or electricity (where applicable) to your property, you will not be eligible to receive your Google Home Mini. If you sign up to an eligible AGL energy plan for an address you are moving into, we will send your Google Home mini when the account at your new property becomes active.
You have a 10 business day cooling off period starting from the day you receive your AGL Confirmation letter. If you cancel the relevant energy plan during this cooling off period, you will not be eligible to receive your Google Home Mini.
The Google Assistant is the virtual assistant built by Google. To use the Google Assistant on your Google Assistant enabled device, download the Google Assistant app to your phone and start with 'Hey Google' or "Ok Google" and ask your question. Find out more about Google Assistant.
The Google Home Mini is a smart speaker that enables users to use their voice to interact with the Google Assistant and control compatible smart devices like smart light globes, plugs and thermostats. If you link your AGL energy account to the Google Assistant you can also access certain AGL services and information about your energy account with your voice. Find out more about Google Home Mini.
Here's how to link your AGL account to the Google Assistant.
Once linked, say 'Hey Google, talk to AGL' and ask your question. Check your balance, find out your usage and stay on top of your bills with a simple voice command.
You’ll either receive a Google Home Mini in Chalk or Charcoal. Colour is dependent on stock availability at the time.
If you wish to return a faulty device to AGL, please complete our online form with your details and we’ll send a product return satchel to your mailing address, which you should receive within three to five business days. After we receive the faulty device from you, we’ll arrange for a replacement device to be shipped out to you.

You'll receive a flyer in your Google Home Mini box that explains how to set up your new device or you can refer to our instructions.

If you’re an existing AGL customer or have moved into a new home, your Google Home Mini will be shipped to this mailing address approximately 7 business days after your 10-business day cooling off period or your supply commencement date, whichever is later.
If you’re switching to AGL from another retailer, your Google Home Mini will be shipped approximately 7 business days after AGL becomes your retailer, which could take up to 3 months.*
We’ll send you an email when your Google Home Mini is ready to be dispatched, and a tracking number when it is shipped. Plus, you’ll receive delivery status updates until it’s delivered.
*Subject to market timeframes for basic meter transfer. Once dispatched, delivery of the devices will be subject to standard delivery timeframes. Delivery timeframes may vary.
If you’re an existing AGL customer or have moved into a new home, your device will be shipped to your nominated mailing address approximately 7 business days after your 10-business day cooling off period or your supply commencement date, whichever is later.
If you’re switching to AGL from another retailer, your device will be shipped approximately 7 business days after AGL becomes your retailer, which could take up to 3 months.*
Contact AGL on 131 245 to find out the status of your transfer. We’ll send you an email when your device is ready to be dispatched, and a tracking number when it is shipped. Plus, you’ll receive delivery status updates until it’s delivered.

We’ll send your new Google Home Mini to the mailing address you gave us when signing up to your new AGL energy plan. If you'd like us to send your device to a different address, please provide those address details. If details are not received within 5 business days we will send to your existing address for your electricity account.
If you are not home to sign for the delivery it will be dropped off at your nearest Australia Post office for collection.
Use of the Google Home Mini will be subject to the Google Assistant Terms of Use.
At AGL we take privacy seriously. Steps we take to secure your personal information include that we seek to only provide Google with information that is necessary to answer your question or use the Action.
For example, you'll notice that data, such as your personal address, is not provided fully. It's still your responsibility to ensure that your Google Assistant can't be heard by anyone else, so remember to be aware of who is around you when you ask Google Assistant for your information. We use end-to-end encryption to protect your data.
AGL is always working to have appropriate measures in place to protect your personal information. We take steps in accordance with the Guide to Personal Information published by the Office of the Information Commissioner, to secure our systems and the personal information we collect.

When you use the Google Assistant, Google will also collect and use your data and personal information and this information collection and use will be governed by Google's privacy policy and its additional terms of use.
