Generator Performance Technical Standards are the technical parameters agreed between connecting generators and their local Network Service Provider, with wider system security advice provided by AEMO. The rule change, proposed by AEMO largely seeks to increase the stringency of these performance standards, in addition to other related changes to the negotiation framework.

While AGL supports aspects of the AEMC’s draft position, our submission flags several areas which we believe requires further assessment.
