The Essential Services Commission Victoria (ESC) recently consulted on their draft decision on family violence provisions for energy retailers. AGL has been actively engaging and supporting the ESC on this matter which you can read more about here.

We support the Commission’s approach to formalise family violence support for customers across all retailers and support the principles this work is based on. Our submission provides three recommendations for the improvement of the regulatory regime, including drafting amendments and recognition of retailers existing training and support systems.
