The Clean Energy Regulator is currently consulting on the design of a new Corporate Emissions Reduction Transparency report (CERT), which is intended to assist National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme reporters to show how they are meeting their emissions reduction goals. AGL has made a submission to this consultation, where we have indicated our general support for the proposed new reporting scheme and made some suggestions for potential improvements including:

• a broader scope for the emissions captured by the proposed new report; and
• adding a free text box (to be presented with the data) where reporters can provide comments/contextual information on the data.
