AGL has provided a response to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action consultation paper (previously the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning) on whether further consumer protections for users of DER are needed to protect Victorian consumers.

The Victorian Government sought input from stakeholders to understand the possible risks to users of DER and areas for potential reform. Our feedback aims to help the government determine the consumer protections necessary for DER users as they take part in Victoria’s energy transition.
