AGL Energy Limited (AGL) has received the attached notice of industrial action from the Victorian branch of the Electrical Trades Union (ETU), registered as the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Postal, Plumbing & Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU), pursuant to section
414 of the Fair Work Act 2009.

The ETU represents workers at AGL's Loy Yang coal mine in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. The notice advises of an indefinite number of consecutive one-hour stoppages on the performance of all work from 12am on Monday 15 May 2017.

AGL is assessing its response to this notice and will make announcements to the market in relation to further developments, consistent with its continuous disclosure obligations.
